"Hands down this is the best thing I can ever remember, always remember"

I forgot to mention this last night, what with being tired and all, but now I remember, thanks to a nap, caffeine, and crossant. Here is what I remember--we accidentally set off a fire alarm last night and woke everyone up. Shhhh. Don't tell. It was late and we were having our sing-a-long in Wana Lee's. She'd lit incense and candles. They'd been burning about three hours. I guess things had gotten pretty smokey, cuz all of a sudden the fire alarm starts going off. Colin the Funny (not Colin the Red) stood on a chair and covered the alarm with a pillow. That smothered the sound enough for us to hear an alarm going off in my room next door. Turns out that when one alarm at Brasenose goes off,t hey all go off. The entire college came streaming out into the quad. Some had been sleeping, some had been showering, some had been drinking. It was an interesting mix. We had to stand out in the cold night air until a porter came to see what the hubbub was about. Not that the screeching alarms didn't tip him off. It was funny. All the people in Wana Lee's room were laughing hysterically. But we couldn't say what was so funny. Can't have an entire college mad at you. But it was damn funny.
